Up for sale is a Miniature Aircraft X-Cell 60 Custom. This is a bird that comes complete with airframe, motor, pipe and electronics including a Futaba 7Ch PCM transmitter (ch 44). Details are as follows:
KIT: The kit has been upgraded with Bergen stacked frames, bergen clutch, bergen triple bering block, dual boom supports, new fury tank for extended flights, updated tail pitch slider. A fiberglass canopy is included that has been repaired from crash. Tuff strut skids replace the stock wimpy ones. Blades are SAB 690 mm.
YS 60 with hatori pipe
Electronics include FP-R129DP PCM Dual Conversion Rx, 4 Futaba S5101'S, 1 JR NES-4131 (collective), and Futaba FP-7UHPS 7Ch PCM transmitter. Fairly new (less than 6 months old) Rx and transmitter batteries are included. Gyro is an older model mechanical JR gyro that you'll want to replace with a modern one.
Extras: Original manuals and exploded view diagrams for the X-cell are included. Original manual for the radio are included. The package includes a Sullivan starter with one-way bering start shaft. A battery field charger (Hobbico) for the Rx and Tx batteries is included.
Needs a starter battery, glow igniter and fuel. The heli as stated above needs a gyro. The one in it now is old and does not maintain the tail. The canopy is repaired, but otherwise fits well and looks decent. The heli has a mild vibration and the usual suspects have been inspected and replaced if needed. Probably needs to have the fan dialed in, but I can't guarantee it. Everything is sold as-is.
This bird is what I learned on, and I think 60 sized birds make good trainers. But, new pilots should have experienced help with X-Cells as they are not plug-and-play, like say a Raptor.
