I have been fiddling with some nose mounted designs of late and this is my latest offering. Quick removal of the camera (triggered using a HS 55). Vibration is very low with a lot of the vibes being absorbed by the rubber mountings. Camera can be tilted up to 90 degs above subject. Cost of materials was about $10 AUD.

Using a Casio Exilim 850 I have managed to get some good pics which I will post in due course.

No - sorry not as yet but I would be happy to put together a quick sketch if you like with approximate measurements. I use 2 different size pool noodles, electrical cable holder and an old boom from the same heli (recycled!!!). a bit of refrigeration insulation for vibration absorbtion and that's it!

I'll draw up my version. If I can design/draw an aerobatic plane in an hour, I can measure/draw up a mount.
Thats about the same inventory list I had drwan up too. The owner of the lhs laughed at my small collection of "used" tail-booms. Now he knows why :)

The weather is crap here at the moment so I guess I'll get building.
