i think thats where i got mine.. neways there is a kit that comes with the 4530 and the adapter.. if i can find mine, i can drop it in the mail to you..i dont have the prop tho..
i've been trying to get the heatsink and adapter, supposed they are backordered for about 22 years or so. Thats not a typo, thats what the local hobby store told me when they talked to their distributor.

I have tried running a GWS DD tail with the 4530 twice now with the proper adapter and blown both motors within 5 minutes of hovering. I had to go back to the 3020 push on prop which seems to lose hold randomly. I am not sure what the deal is but I do have the heatsink attached. I am almost ready to go back to the original tail setup. I am running separates with a GY240 and DX7 transmitter/AR6100. "shrug"

WHAT! WHITE BLADES??? Surely you have offended the Carbon Gods! ;-)
Good post, I'm trying the bearing trick tonight. Thanks!

How do you keep the heli from shaking on rotor decell?
I installed the bearings and it shakes so bad it falls over on spool down.
It was glass smooth with the orings.
edit: It seems the problem is caused by the blades moving forward in their grips on decell.
I run an Arc 110 motor and the freestyle blades. The cogging on the motor, which is severe, and the loose fit of the blades (they are thinner at the root than stock) come in to play when I replace the damper with a non damper (bearing). They simply slip forward in the grips, one more than the other of course. I'm sure a 1 way clutch would solve this as wood a non coggy motor, but it is a micro after all.
I guess its back to o rings... sigh

WhirlingBladesOfDeath,
I am using the DX7 and the AR6100 also. I use throttle hold to arm the gws t.motor esc. When I put throttle hold on, the rudder goes full left. It's also a safe way to plug in the lipo. I give it a few seconds to arm, flip the switch, and fly. Yes the t. motor does spin once I turn it on. I haven't found a solution to that, yet.

I'm planning to use a DX 7 with my CP Pro. What kind of servos did you use?. Do I have to change anything else in addition to the receiver? I'm running brussless and lipo battery

Has anybody tried 3D with a stock HB CP2? I've tried some for the first time but it seems that the stock motor hasen't enough power.

I noticed you are using the G90 in digital mode along with the stock servos. Since no servo is connected to the gyro, what does the digital mode do over the standard mode? Will using the digital mode harm anything? I am using a DX6 radio along with a AR6000 receiver. Thanks.

I am also using seperate electronics with a GY240 instead of the G90. I went inverted for the first time on the CP Pro today. It was pretty stable.

I'm getting the GWS ICS50 ESC tomorrow. I already have the IX50C DD motor and 4530 prop with adapter. My Feigao DD tail motor draws too much current for my 800mah 11.1v batts and the tail cuts loose after about five mins of flight with no warning at all. Yikes! My setup will then be very close to the one described at the beginning of this thread. I can hardly wait! I'll report back with the results within the next few days.

Swapped out the Feigao for the GWS brushed motor and ESC along with the 4530 prop. The heli flies just fine except it has a tendency to turn left. Trying to get the gyro gain dialed in. Other than that, it all works as advertised.

I would also like to know to the effect of running the gyro in digital mode rather than standard mode because of us using a esc to control the tail instead of a servo. I use the CC Phoenix 10a and Feigao tail motor.

Hello, Mr Duck and Hey Jeremy.
You can mix and match between digital and analog. The fact that you're using analog servos on the collective/cyclic doesn't affect the esc or tail servo. The ESC is accepting digital input from the gyro as would a digital tail rotor servo would. The end result is much finer and consistant control for the device. Basically you can count dots more accurately than you can count waves.
