Hi John!
Although I'm not sitting your end of the pond... And, to be honest, until now I did not buy any.:D
Look here (http://62.153.249.80/jlog) at the end of the page. All listed shops speaking English and shipping world-wide, I belief.
As GimpyGolden said, alternatively: Simply drop an email to the manufacturer SM Modellbau. Well, his shop is not speaking English, don't ask me why..
Here (http://62.153.249.80/jlog/jlog2-en/faq/additional-items-for-jlog2) an English explanation of items eventually in question, and here (http://62.153.249.80/jlog/jlog2-en/faq/connections) about connecting them to JLog2.

Btw: There was already a well-known U.S. dealer/distributor interested to stock and sell JLog2. No idea, why - and why in that rather "rude" fashion the communication stopped as soon as it began..:dontknow

If you would be satisfied with the developer...:)
Yes, works with the HelIJIVE.
Look here (http://helifreak.com/showpost.php?p=3140897&postcount=11) for example. What do you think where the log came from?;)

To those in the US that have ordered the jlog2. How longs was it from the time you paid the pro forma invoice to the time you received the item. I ordered direct from the manufacturer via email. I am on the 7th business day and also have not heard from them about shipping. I have also not received any response to emails I have sent them.

Depends on the shop you prefer.
Here (at the end of the page) (http://62.153.249.80/jlog) all shops I know about.
The email address of SM is info@sm-modellbau.de
(Hopefully this will not cause spams..)
Tom
I ordered one from Modellbau Lindinger last night. It didn't seem like they accepted PayPal, so I hope there aren't any problems with my credit card paying a charge from a foreign country.

I think for me it was close to 12 days from time I paid the invoice.

If I had the means I would be a distro for the USA. :D

As I posted earlier, I ordered a JLog2 from Modellbau Lindinger on March 2. I still have not received it. Their order confimation email said it could be 4 weeks, so I'm starting to get a little worried. There seriously need to be a US distributor for this thing.

Sent from my LG-V909 using TapatalkI contacted them about two weeks ago and asked what sort of deal could be worked for 5-10 of them now and they were willing to give a break. I also asked about being a distributor but didnt get any reply back on that question.
Anyways if there are enough people interested in a group deal shoot me a pm and will be willing to lead the process and start a new thread on the specifics if Tom will allow. Otherwise I can make the new thread in the resellers forum.
Added a thread here (http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=399853)

I ordered mine on March 12th and my wife told me that something came in the mail today that she had to sign for. I think it was the JLog!!! That was fast!!
Who did you order it from? I'm getting ready to revoke my PayPal payment, and order from someone else.

Same as you.. I wonder if the delay has to do with the route it took to get to the west coast. May not be the same as the east coast.

http://www.sm-modellbau.de (drop an email for a non-DE-speaking purchase)
http://www.lindinger.at
http://www.der-schweighofer.at
http://www.mhm-modellbau.de
http://www.freakware.de
http://www.hobby-factory.com (hard to find: look for “SMB2800″)
http://www.lipoly.de
http://www.heli-chris.de
http://www.modellbau-freudenthaler.at
http://www.helitec.at
http://www.eflight.ch
At this point, I would avoid www.lindinger.at (http://www.lindinger.at). No response to my email queries and nearly a month later no product to speak of.

Ge...
Sorry to hear that you haven't recieved your Jlog from Lindinger yet. I purchased one through them and it took less than two weeks to show up. The tracking info was a little wierd but it showed an item was shipped with in a day of the purchase. I also received an email comformation from them.
Though I know how it feels to have to wait for something... it sucks.
Hope you get taken care of soon.

lipoly.de is an excellent place to order from. Emails in excellent english.
Ordered mine they had it in stock on a thursday night, had it monday afternoon.
Well well, guess what showed up today! Man, this thing is small! (that's what she said? :face)
Sorry for the crude humor. I'm just really happy now. Now I need to figure out how to use this thing. I think I'll heed Tom's advice and RTFM.

Cool...
The JLC is fairly easy to set up. Log View on the other hand might take some time to figure out. Once you have it figured out though it's a piece of cake.
