I have 9650's on both helis (cyclic), but on one of them, there is a servo that mostly affects the elevator that has a terrible play.
It appears the top bearing doesn't seat properly on the top case, and the output shaft has play in all directions. Adding this to the play in the gears, makes the heli bob in the elevator during all the situations.
I remember when setting the heli up, I've folded the blades to one side and as soon as I dropped them, they wouldn't stand still, going up and down as the servo was trying to find it's center.
I tried to shim the servo but the play is always there.
A friend gave me the advice to put some CA on the external bearing case and lock it in place in the top case. I guess I could use some green Loctite...
Is this normal?
I've bought a new case and gears to try, just in case...
