I am on here day and night. Just about all I think about are these darned helicopters. I'm pretty sure I can stop anytime I want but I'm afraid to find out.

And that's not all. Some here(you know who you are) seem to take perverse pleasure in putting a thought in your head knowing full well that once the thought takes root there is no escape. So from now on, all talk of 9303, and DX7 transmitters must stop! Not to mention any references to xps modules. My 652 is doing the job glitch free so far. . . but I have thoughts of upgrading anyway.

I've made lists, and charts to know what I "need" to buy and to compare results and features. Heck I've even cleared off a section of my reloading bench to accommodate my ever expanding fleet. I suppose I could keep them with my airplanes, but I suspect they don't really like to be mixed in together anyway.

My wife is starting to worry. I don't think I've spoken to anyone in the last month without mentioning rc helicopters, nitro, pcm, ppm, gyro, or any number of geek speak lingo catch phrases.

I also think that this sickness is spreading. I'm pretty sure I caught it from my nephew at Christmas when someone gave him a heli. I in turn may have inadvertently infected my mother's cousin. He got infected after I brought my FP honeybee to a Friday night card game and now has a Trex 450 and a couple of Honeybees, not to mention lots of support equipment. He actually called me last week-said, "I hate you for this" and hung up!.

EEEEvil I tell you pure EEEEvil!

Thats funny, my reloading bench has been taken over by helis too. Once you get started in this hobby, its hard to stop. Many of the hobbies I used to have are sitting on shelves or collecting dust in the garage. These helis get all of my "hobby" money now.

Hehe :),

It's really sick I have to admit, My father also likes this kind of stuff (Gliders)and even He told me I have something that looks like a schizophrenic attack...
The last few years i was navigating in a Rally-car, but that was getting way to expensive for me, license and race costs.
So i had to search for another thrilling Hobby, My wife suggested me to pick up my RC hobby again and bought me a Miniheli, believing this is cheaper.
Well done girl! :Slap

I'm with ya!

IT guy at work asked what HeliFreak was! Apparently I visited the site one too many times during the work day and caught his attention.

Thank goodness I am the owners' assistant or I would probably have plenty more time to get further involved in this hobby.....hmmmm not a bad idea! :bad

heh, I am the IT guy at work . . . so no worries there

So there I was on lunch break and my pickup took me over to the lhs, another wad of cash gone. At least it was a smallish wad this time. The TXs were calling to me but I resisted the siren's call
