Hey fellas,i just recently purchased a Trex500 on here from a fellow freak that is equipped with Beast X(will receive it tuesday).Im leaning towards purchasing an Aurora 9.Even in the surface radios i absolutely hated the toyish feel of any spektrum radio ive held. The only thing i can say i like are the gimbals on the DX8 which is really uncomfortable for me to hold.
My question is,if i do decide to go with the Aurora 9 if someone on here would be able to help me set this thing up properly?Ive had a blade sr for just over a month, and have been diligent on the phoenix sim,but ive raced RC cars for about 15 years.Im not new to RC but definitely new to heli's and i just need some guidance so i dont screw something up!Any help, settings, layout of wiring and antenna, and setting up the Beast X would be a great help.I just want to make sure the support will be there before i purchase one! Thanks!

Thank you!!These heli's are a whole new world to me,and with my little experience ive got quite a bit to learn jumping into a setup like this and need as much help as i can get to make sure its right when i set it up.Itll probably be a couple of weeks until its in,but i will definitely PM you!

The A9 has an awesome set of features. Like anything else, it all comes down to individual preference, but I love it. I fly a 500, 550, and 600 on mine and it's been a great radio. Hitec has produced exceptional radios for years and the A9 is no different. You can make setups as easy or as complex as you want. Finless has a great set of videos in the Tech Room.

Thank you!Im glad i decided to go with it.My LHS is going to have one for me on wednesday!I called Hitec support and they spoke with me for a half hour or better just answering each question i had with extra info to boot! The entire system seems to be a no brainer for me after doing some research on the radio....i love the way it sounds and cant wait to try it out!

I have found the A9 to be quite an easy transmitter to set up. Having never flown heli's before it was my first transmitter purchase. +1 for watching finless vid's and it also comes with a very good instruction manual.

Its my first programmable heli radio as well.I didnt want to get a radio and wish i had bought something better later on.This radio sounds as if it will have everything ill need in a heli radio for as long as i need it!
