Ha! A local environmental group opposes heli skiing in the Wasatch. Not sure how they feel about the Bergen.

I think of the poor tree that suffered a cruel death to produce the paper that the bumper sticker is printed on. Not to mention the toxic chemicals involved in the printing of it, that no doubt were just rinsed down the drain by the thoughtless, money grubbing, evil corporation that printed the sticker.

:lolol
I'll bet they don't like heli skiing because they can't afford it. Not like they are camping up there in the winter.

Well, if you really are a motivated skier, you walk uphill instead of hiring a heli-ride.......

Derek,
I notice you have the large sized noodles on your Bergen. I was going to do the same, but went with the smaller sized because I thought the large sized ones would interfere with my pull start. I'm guessing you didn't run into that problem?
Oh yeah, and do you have the stock muffler? If so, what have you done to keep the exhaust from melting a hole in the noodle?

The large noodles don't interfere with the start, you just pull slightly upwards. I like the higher ground clearance for the tail. The tail fin doesn't dig into the ground uneven terrain. Also keeps it higher out of the snow on snowy launches, which I do frequently as of late.
I have the titanium muffler, the old one. I trashed the new one in my crash. Ouch, that was the most expensive replacement part. But I bought a used one from someone here, so that helped the cost.

I laugh every time I fly over the Park City and look down at the carnage of hundreds and hundreds of ski runs cut down the mountains and the same people that ski the F'rs are the ones that think they are the environmentalists. Robert Redford own one of the SOBs :bomb:
