Well been cooped up and barely able to fly for dam near 7 months. We had the most brutal winter I have ever seen up here in the great white. Been hitting it hard now that we are finally getting above zero temps "in the daytime anyways". Friend snapped a few pics while I dusted off my L14, it felt real good! :glasses2: Just thought to share my excitement. Alot of you get to fly all year long, you are so "very" lucky indeed.

Well I am pretty darn rusty, that is for certain. I have a HD cam, I need someone to run it though, lol. Maybe after a month or so of getting some dust and rust off I will have something to share of a video. There is so much snow here still we have to find these odd openings, this was out at the end of a construction site outside of town. Currently our flying field has over 4 feet of standing snow and allot has melted allready. I can not see flying there however till at least May, :(.
Anyhow yea thanks all, I am pretty pumped about this season, going to really step it up for sure!! :smokin:

Well Nathan they are abit noisy. However they definetely do auto very well and they take less power to drive than the Vs'. Not saying they are the best blade for sure but I like them. They do not have the hold and bite of Vs, or the fastest roll but darn good. What I like best about them is the orientation of them, meaning as soon as the bottom side of disc is to you it is pure white, top side looks like it is checkered in sky. Everyone who has seen them always comments on how nice they look in sky and how much easier the heli is to see. Pyshically they are about an eigth inch wider than Vs and about 7-9mm longer on the ends. Even though they call them 603mm I suspect maybe they are really 610s'.
*Note* I did a weigh in of some blades I have on hand
VBlade 600mms' = 126 grams each
Radix 600mms' = 139 grams each
BBT Maniac 603mms' = 140 grams each
BBT 580mms' = 108 grams each
MS Composite 590mms' = 103 grams each
Of course the blade foil etc plays a bigger part than the weight but for anyone curious, there you go.
P.S. See you at SHAG 2007

I was just about to ask how those blades where :)
How about those radix blades compared to the V's?
We had a beatiful day here yesterday. All snow is gone and we could actually fly in t-shirts :D

Nice Lorents, I really like that canopy. Vs compared to Radix hmmm, well I have not used Radix enough to give a fair evaluation to be honest. So far the maniacs are my fav balance.

Ive been using both V's and Radix, radix on the shelf now, I like the V better.
Radix have a tendency to not work good in turbolent air, they are OK if you do 3D all the time, but if you do a slow descent you will feel the heli tilt badly.
For me that training slow flight with constant piro, the radix wasnt good.
We have beutiful weather here in sweden too, unfortunally I planted my L14 yesterday during Chaos practice. Except for the boom all parts that survived including electronics fitted a 2 liter box... in other words, new kit on the way..
Was thinking about waiting for a 600 3D, but nah, I _need_ my L14 :D

I/m using the Radix and like them over most others but never tried V's. My mate fly's nothing but V's and swears by them.
Bad luck Mel, i'm too scared of chaos for that reason, think i'll perfect every other manouver i can think of first. If only the new 600's were ready :smokin:

Is where I got them. I suggest requesting them to look at the blades before sending them as "apparently" the odd pair are warped. I have been lucky but have heard of a few peeps with a bad set, best just to ask them, they have been good with me on checking prior.
