After having crashed my blade CP again trying to manage it, I decided to buy a CP Pro and what a difference between the two. I was reluctant after all the trouble trying to fly the CP, but its MUCH easier to me. After a little setup with gain and trim, the tail stayed in one place, sometime my CP never has done and overall it just seems much more stable right out of the box.
Now I switch back and forth between the two and its made me realize just how difficult the blade CP is to fly...
Has anyone else bought both helis and had a similar experience?

I have both but have only flown the pro in clearview. At first the pro was a handful but as I gain more experience it does seem easier than the cp to fly. With correct inputs the responsiveness of the pro is a good thing. When first starting the sluggishness and slow response of the cp is easier. Even though the pro uses a separate receiver (3 in 1), I thought the tail gyro and motor would be the same as the cp?

A well set up pro is very easy to fly, IMO. But it takes a very light touch as it is basically overcontrolled in stock setup...too much servo link movement.
Add extra collars to flybar, balance and track blades very well, absolutley level swash plate, trimmed carefully, servo links moved one hole closer to hub, servo link holes opened slightly as they are too tight from the factory..it will almost hover hands off. Just a slight nudge to correct, it flies very well. Setup is key.
Also lots of sim time...really need that muscle memory to be second nature. CPP is a lousy trainer. But you can fly anything afterwards.

I have flown both and the Pro is a little better. Still a "handful" Once you fly a bigger larger heli (or a trex 450 set up right) you will be ready to "move on".
