Hi Tom,
do you have any idea if the JLog will work with the new HeliJive?
It is not available yet, but the manual is online and i have a plan to use it.
If it will not work, then i will choose YGE.
Thanks.
Petr

Hi Petr!

Works.

Cheers. Tom

Tom, i see you implemented a new feature - RPM output for Vbar.
I was thinking about asking you if this can be done.
It cannot be tested until someone will have JLog2 and HeliJive, but i think it is nice idea.

Well, Uli told me that he will not have the time right now for testing of it. I should test it by myself. But, you name it, I'll need a HeliJIVE for that, will take care of it.

The question is whether an update rate of 100ms for the pulse frequency may be sufficient, given the inertia of the controlled system..?

That was just a spontaneous idea..

It might work, but i think it will not be as good as classic sensor.
The Vbar gov need to have fast feedback, to see if the applied change had any effect.
Here will be 100ms delay and the value will stay the same for next 100ms.
Need to be tested.
Would be very nice if it would work.
I am considering waiting for YGE with RPM output, but HeliJive have all i might need, so i think i will get that again. Only the prices is higher again.

The Vbar gov need to have fast feedback, to see if the applied change had any effect.
Not sure.. That w'd be the V-Bar governor in a normal control loop (like JIVE's governor), reacting, not preventive acting. As I mentioned: No idea how the inertia of the control process is. Needs to give it a try..

Hi Tom

Jlog 2 can work with new HeliJive (Version 11)?
What I need for it except Jlog2 and HeliJive?

Thank You!

Yes, works.

What do I need for it except of Jlog2 and HeliJive?
Nothing, SM#2800 (JLog2), that's all.

If you want to use JLog-own sensors (external to the JIVE), look here (http://62.153.249.80/jlog/jlog2-en/faq/additional-items-for-jlog2) as well as here (http://62.153.249.80/jlog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/JLog2-Feature-Matrix7.jpg).
