Just replaced the tail motor (another stock) and now frequently when I spool up the tail motor wont start moving even at very hight throttle. Sometimes it will quickly start up (left rudder) and then it calms down, but doesn't start up enough to control the tail as i take off??? Advice?
Could it be my soder job?

Sounds fishy. Double check your soldering like you said, although it could be a bad motor even tho it is new. I just got a new one and the end cap popped off very easily. Make sure it is on there correctly, but DONT try to pull it off.

If you can. Get a direct drive motor for your tail.It makes a huge difference from stock.Im loving this heli right now. Its much easier to fly. I can even take my thumb off the left stick at times and control the heli with the right stick in hover. My next upgrade will be a gyro.

Check your wiring for breaks or pinching. Replace the motor. Work the 4-in-1 pots left and right toc clean them then put back to your normal settings. If the problem still persists, you may have a faulty 4-in-1.
