I have the V-Stabi on my Logo 14. I am getting a slow drift of the tail that is evident in flight. The heli will slowly move the nose to the right. This was what happend during the first flight of the day. With the next flight The heli just spun around like the gyro was reversed. I re-intialized everything and the same result.

I upgraded the firmware to the new version, but this was the first chance I had to fly the heli.

My settings for the tail are:
tail servo reversed
Neutral is 0
Travel limit is 51 for both sides
Tail torque compensation is cyclic 15
Collective 35
Hover collective compensation 0
Sensitivity 85
symmetry 0

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I had the same issue on mine (creeping tail) dont remember what I did to fix it though...

However, on the VStabi forum I got this answer when I wrote a question back then

"Tail: Do you notice this in Flight or on ground? A slow creeping of the Tail Servo is normal. Normally you will not notice this in flight. If you notice it in flight, check the Settings of the flight phases. The Sensor and the RC Input is adjustet at startup of the Device, so dont move the Heli for a few seconds, until the small ptich glitch acknowleges the init.
"

Also, where have you mounted the sensor?

I mounted the sensor the same place you did using the same platform to get the sensor at 90 degrees to the mainmast. :D

Ulrich said to turn the noise supression on. I'll try that.

Thanks,
John

Well I turned the noise supression on and now the servo moves to one side very quickly! Then it quivers side to side. I'm using a G3 Futaba receiver. Didn't you have trouble with your G3 receiver MrMel?

Thanks,
John

I am sure you have thought about this, but make sure that the cable from the sencor is firmly attached to the V-bar unit. Mine came loose once and made it tip over :)

Well it looks like my Rudder gyro on the V-Stabi isn't working. When I hook the unit up to the computer and move the heli around the graphs for the roll and nick move as expected but the heck graph doesn't.

Looks like it's back to Germany for this one. Figures I'd be the first one to break it. :dontknow

If you move the control, does the servo move at all?

Have you entered the correct servo type in the first screen?
(if you are using 9256 you need to adjust)

Yes the servo will move but it is very haphazard. The servo works with a GY 611. The gyro doesn't compensate for any yaw at all. Roll and pitch are compensated for.

I made sure I had the correct rudder servo.
