I tell you what I know from experience that ReadyHeli's back in stock notification system works really well.

If you were looking for one and they are getting more, I would use it as I'm sure you will get notified ASAP.

These shipped out Friday and should be arriving at some of your favorite stores.

The Helijive can be adjusted in the vbar gov to be softer or more powerful than mode 4 by adjusting the collective and cyclic add! I have over two hundred flights on her now and all is good!

I did not find it really more powerfull (maybe it makes difference on underpowered setups) but for me the less peaks is good and also the smoothness is a bigger factor.

I really think KT needs to change spoolup default for mode 8 from 6sec to 12sec, 6sec is too abrupt, it only changes over to vbar at above 50% anyway so it should be 12 sec

Agreed the default of 6 secs is a slightly aggressive for spoolup with 10kw+ motors, Helijives are back instock @ Ready Heli and there support for Kontronic and everything else is Great!

I set it to 12 i think it changes over to vbar based on 50% thr value.

Also set cutoff to 3.2v per cell i think 2.7 or 3 is too low in reality

I also changed the LVC to 3.2 and spool up to 10 secs and BEC voltage to 6v as I am running futaba servos.Helicraze That scorpion4535 you are running is a monster how do you like it? and no problems running it with the Helijive?

I only run it with jive 120HV so far, today or tommorow is with helijive.

It had no problem with jive 120 so i doubt with 30% less peaks and ksa mode it would cause any issue on helijive!

Its got lots of power. Funny the only motor is ever get to shutdown on jive is 4525LE, never the 4530 or 4535??? The 25 is delta wiring and done in HK, the others are Y and done in germany.

I have the same motor & helijive, can you run it in mode 4?

I notice on vbar control panel there is a ramp up speed value that i can change, but its not in the 5.2 pc software. Will changing this fix the tail kick when it changes over from jive to vbar control in mode 8 during spool up???

It should be 3, and default settings in Jive too, perhaps you can tweak it a bit (startup in Jive/rampup) but it's out of warranty really.

KONTRONIK approves using mode 8 of the HELI JIVE 120+HV together with VBar Version 5.2.4 and KONTRONIK PYRO 700 motor series - I just found out that mode 8 with other motors is not covered by warrenty I have been sucessful with xera on mode 8 but I just changed it out to a Pyro 700.You can run other motors on mode 4, and other heli modes and warranty is valid as I understand it.

Why changed? How works Xera with Vbar?

This specification of Kontronik Pyro only used in mode 8 may be a deal breaker for some pilots! That being said I have flown Xera 4035 with no problems for over 250 flights so they work well together.

Depends on IR many factors, compared to FIRST spoolup back on mode 11

Something is different they way the jive vs helijive calcs, i swapped all 2 powerjive for heli jive (left 1 powerjive in a heli, total of 3 helis), then set mode 5/11 on them as appropriate.

All helijives i had to set thr curve lower than previous and the powerjive EXACTELY the same as previous

Well, the uplift throttle-->PWM in fact jumped a bit up w/ the H/JIVE. Not much, but enough to notice it. If you look at the curves (logs by motor tester) on my site you will see how much it is.

I told it Kontronik already and the developer knows that he must look after that, above all, to determine why, because it was not intentional.

Helijive matches mrmels calulator vs powerjive does not. How do i find if i am in optimim range? On dx7 i am at 61% on one heli and 64% on another
