it was my first time out with this thing today. it was flying awesome and i was doing some back flips/loops which went good. i then tried a couple forward flips and then the carbon strips let go on the right wing and down she went. just folded up in the air. i don't think this kit is very well designed. it wasn't very sturdy. i think i'm going to try a Great Planes model next

Hey, check out some of the foamies on Hobby Lobby. I have quite a few of theirs and LOVE them. They're designed well with CF stiffners in just the right places.

www.3dfoamy.com and build your own.. The Edge 540 flies awesome... Just use 1.5x5.5mm carbon fiber instead of the tube.. Much stiffer...

I flew a CR-1 in the Foamy Deathmatch (and WON) and I was amazed at how nicely it flew...almost didn't want to try and destroy it. They're at www.chargerrc.com.

thanks for the info. i already bought a flatout 300s. they had it priced wrong at my LHS and i got it for $35 CAD! i should have bought 2. its goin together pretty good.
