I've been pricing 6HVs. I'm still researching kits.
Part Number: CPS-ATOM6HV-FBL , Price: 519.99 (no ESC)
Part Number: CPS-ATOM6HV-FBL-a ,Price: 619.99 (with ESC)
the kit cost between a combo with the ESC and without is around $100 to $110. the hobby-wing controller is usually around $80 to $90. is there some other bonus parts in the combo or what? it's only $20 extra, but I normally expect some sort of discount or extra stuff if its bundled.
my natural instinct is to buy them separately to save the $20. would I be missing out of something?

Nankin's price on the HW 70HV is $127. You may be thinking about the LV ESCs with the $80-90 prices range.

Its this one? HW-PL70A-HV-PRO -> $89.
RC711 sells both. with the same $100 delta.
so is there anything special about the one in the kit?

Nope. It's just a run of the mill 70A HV Pro.
Don't forget that you'll have to add almost $50 in shipping and good luck if you have any issues with the kit.

thanks. I've had very good luck with my HW 40A platinum in my 450 and already have the programming box.
hobbypartz sells the 70A HV for $77. :roll:but its not stock. they have good support. if they come in between now and "then" I'll pick one up.
if this is nankin only forum. let me know.

IF any problems, Compass will deal with it! Buy it where it is cheapest;-)

Nope. You're certainly free to buy from anywhere.

There's "dealing with it" and then there's "dealing with it promptly". Just by the very nature of RC711 being overseas, it's not going to be a quick resolution. Nankin may or may not support you.

I recently had an order in with RC711 for a clutch. it took 3 weeks to get the shipment. In that amount of time I could have built a whole heli kit.
