As you can tell, I'm a newbie to this sport. I was recently given a Blade CX2 as a gift. Well, it's now become an obsession with me to be able to do more with this beginners version.

I ordered the performance upgrade through bladecxpro.com and have installed the components. The problem I'm having is that with little power, the heli spins wildly to the left. Controller adjustments have no affect. I have noticed that after the installation of the new motors, and inner and outer shafts, the blades don't spin as easily as they did with the original equipment.

Can someone help me with a solution?

Thank you!

ok here's what's happened. i bought those motors myself. they have stronger magnets in them, and possibly a hotter armature. your flight time will be cut in half also. the stiffness is totally ok, and normal.

now for the main problem. you probably have 1 or the other motor wired/plugged in wrong. break out the manual, and make sure they are spinning in the proper direction. you can also unplug 1 motor, and give it some throttle to see if it's spinning the proper direction. note the polarity of the plug, and unplug it, and plug in the other motor, and do the same thing. as i remember 1 plug is backwards from the marking on the 4 in 1.

i put the original motors back in to keep the 10 min flights.

roughly how much time do you have on the motors? the original ones that is. if you get them hot over, and over the tension on the brushes will get weaker, and produce less power, and possibly make you work the tail allot more. there are no brush springs, but just a brass tension bar, so over time they will wear out. the cx2 is a great tool to understand flight controls, but ounce your ready for a single rotor heli you will be starting all over again.

i hope this helps.
