Hi, I'm flying a swift 16 and I just broke my lg on a hard landing recently. I put on new LG and replaced the shaft. I took off my Blade grips to replace with aluminum but decided not to us the al for now so I put the original plastic blade grips back on. I re lubed everything and took it outside.

The swift spun up fine and everything looked good until it started getting small glitches. I don't have a frequency scanner but I've never had problems at this location before (it is in town though I'm on 14 acres in the middle of a residential area)

So any suggestions where to look? Other than the glitches it seemed to be in as good of shape as ever. Tracking right on no funny sounds, no vibes not even on spool up.???

HELP!

Well never mind. I went over my heli tonight and found that one of the screws that holds on a tail roter blade grip was loose. I'm sure glad it didn't fly off mid air.

I'm using loctite on all metal to metal screws such as this one so I'm not sure how it got loose. Also I had looked everything over for broken links and proper function after the last hard landing but It all appeared in order. I guess I just didn't notice that it was loose since I didn't actually touch the blade or holder, just the links and slider.

I hate those screws. I put longer ones in to tighten against the shaft.
