I like the little E-flite chargers, small, cheap, easy to use.

But are they really doing a good job? I have heard that they just cut off charging when 1 cell reaches 4.2V, regardless of the other cell? ( or cells for 3S packs)

I would like something I can use larger capacity batteries with (1000-1200mah perhaps) and still be able to use the E-flite tabs on my current batteries, if possible.

am I looking at a Triton w/ a balancing adapter here?

My batteries are still new-ish (less than 20 charges each) I use the stock charger. When I check cell voltages, they have always been pretty much identical I think I've seen a variance of 0.1 volts in a cell once or twice.

Seems pretty good thus far.

As for new chargers, I gots no clue. :dontknow

I was thinking the same thing......so I ordered 3 of the E-flite 3S batteries (11.2V) and 1 more of the 2-3 cell stock chargers

This way, I can have 2 batteries going at once charging!

I have been using either my AstroFlight 109 or my Triton to charge my Blade batterys along with a AstroFlight Blinky balancer. The Triton with the Great Planes Equinox balancer should also work if you can find the right adaptor cord to fit the Blade's battery.
