3s or 4s battery pack

My lepton is setup with a Hyperion Titan 80A esc,
Hyperion Z3025-10 motor and a 26T pinon.
I was going to buy a 3s pack but I was told I should be using a 4s for the Hyperion Z3025-10 motor and I don't understand why.


Can someone tell me is it ok to use a 3s with the above setup or should I change to a 24T pinon and go with a 4s.

Second case - change pinion and go for 4S.

With a 4S batt you will need a 22T. You can use 3S and the 26T butt this will give you a lower available power. But it works.
