Chris,

I'm still planning on coming up to have you check out my heli. I think I finally have it figured out, but a check from the expert is in order. I know you said Thursdays were good, but I was wondering if Tuesdays might be good also? How much notice would you like before I come? I'm also interested in looking at the turbine and understanding it better before I make a decision on whether it's something I want in my stable of ships.

Thanks,
Lou

I guess have to start working on the turbine waiver :WOW In all seriousness, I need to understand the whole package. I need to understand all I'll have to learn to safely fly and maintain one.

It is a little more to do ,,but quite easy to pick up and a WHOLE lot of fun... heck if an old fart like myself can do it ..any one can . :dontknow
And Chris is just the guy , willing and able to show you the ins and outs of a turbine ... including his famous LAUNCH :WOW :noteworthy

I've seen you guys play with the turbine. Larry, I saw you at PawPaw last September. You had some issue with head speed if I recall. I guess you don't have to worry about bogging down the engine  I've witnessed the LAUNCH :noteworthy It does look like it could scare me very easily :dontknow I still get a pucker when I swing the EB downwind in a strong wind and it's going about a 100mph.

How does a turbine handle a crash? Does the turbine survive like a G26 or do you have to do an engine overhaul? I know that a crash will come (as it has with the EB), I just want need to know how the turbine survives, I know what to expect with the EB.

Same as the G26 ... mine is not a virgin anymore (2 X now ) and tore it down for winter inspection and it looks as good as new in side .. it has 29 hrs on it and going for another yr. Hope to see you at Waterveilet again this yr and without the ECU problem so I can fly some .
I think Chris had one ( well Another pilot who will remain unnamed ) put it in for Chris .
Greg I think has had one or two close calls also .
It seems to be a really strong setup for the date with fate and like you said ,,they all have that date on them .
If you buy the kit Wren ,,,you can learn to do your own maintenance and that is part of the fun with their kit ..plus it saves you on minor repair cost and time down shipping it back to the factory.

Mondays and Tuesdays are the worst days to come in for a visit. I spend all day on the phone and getting e-mails and orders filled from the weekend.

Wednesdays aren't too bad, Thursdays are the best days to play!!
