I hope one of the viewers out there has a Walkera model 68b and can help me out with a few pictures of the two sides of this helicopter?? The reason is that it took me almost three weeks to get a part the (steering lever) that broke whill trying to make adjustment on the attached arm. To replace this item you are required to remove almost everything from the main section of the machine. When I did so I had no idea it would take anywhere near as long as it did to get the part, so I never thought to mark down the way everything went back together, what I need help is on how the two servos attach to the main farme.
I get no answer from the factory at all, nothing!! Every picture I find is only of the left view of the helicopter, none of the right and there are no clue as to which is which, I hope someone on the site can help. Jim :dontknow

I got myself a walkera 68b and is total crap.
Screws were loose and when you go to tight them they break or melt on your screwdriver...
The front servo must not move at all when flying and it must be very tight for the tail to follow orders but i found out that this is impossible!!! You must take the servo to the tail boom using align tail servo holders if you want to fly one day...
You can find pictures in forums. Search well.
I have my heli in my parents house and maybe I will be able to take some pictures
of it in the following weekend or the next. I think you will find pics by then!
I had a bad crash my self and now waiting for spares.
I will try to fix it and fly well (kinda difficult with this heli). But the money and time i spend are not coming back. This heli was a bad choise. Align TRex is more expensive but you fly sooner!!!!!!! With the walkera 68b maybe you will fly a few times before ordering some more spares. One must buy good servos and good tx rx, take the tail servo to the tail boom. Buy new and good quality screws. Tight the whole thing up. Maybe then you will fly with a walkera 68B succesfully.

Try e-mailing Walkera again, I found them very helpful when upgrading my 60 to the alloy head and tail, they sent exploded parts drawings, just be as simple as possible with your English, maybe ask tthem for Main Frame assembly / parts drawings?
I don't know the 68 so I can't realy help, though I thought it was just an upgraded and facelifted 60

Chris,
How long have you been flying model helicopters?
I will be the first to admit that Walkeras are not in the same league as a T-Rex however I feel your comments are a little harsh. The Radio equipment supplied with the Walkera is barely adequate to tune and trim out a helicopter. But the actual mechanics do work and they do fly. I have a Walkera 60 which I have upgraded somewhat and fly it using a JR PCM 9VII transmitter (bought when I purchased my T-Rex600) and JR reciever. THe helicopter is reasonable to learn to hover on, a little twitchy in control response but reasonably stable and not overly expensive to repair. The helicopter was originaly bought on a whim, RTF for GBP £215 I would not have bought a T-Rex 450 on a whim as when ready to fly they cost around GBP £1000 with batteries and charging equipment. However I should point out that it was on the strength of the Walkera That I went out and bought my T-Rex 600 ( now have bought a second !)
I feel you should keep in perspective how much the Walkera cost and keep this in mind when comparing it to other helicopters. Oh, and as an aside I have not had to move the tail servo to the boom in order to make the tail work properly, though no doubt such a move may make control more precise the tail is solid enough and responsive enough for me with the servo in its current position

Gorse' Harsh! hardly, I too have one of these things (68B), and feel just as Chris does. I guess your concept of money and value is different than mine, or perhaps you are unaware of what they ask for the model 68b, with spares and repair parts I now have very close to $550.00 invested and still do not have a flying helicopter!! In the case of this model it is not the design or engineering at fault but it's execution and choice of parts, as well as assembly this is.
The 60 model has been around for awhile and the 68 is a new model here in the states there are no stocking distributors so all parts come direct from China, shipping costs start at $11.40 for delivery in 15 to 25 days. Shorter time is possible from about $24.00 to $68.00 cost. The factory sends and has no help available to the owners of the 68B, I know because I have sent 5 perhaps 6 E-mails asking for help and only got a blow up with a parts list that needs translation for the numbers given are internal factory and bear no relation to order numbers used by possible suppliers. That is the only possible useable information, two of the others suggested contacting the selling dealer, who has no help contact.
For now it sits on my work bench, and have too much on my plate to deal with putting the thing back together. It was a mistake I made in dealing with Walkera, I will never do so again, and will put the company down at every opportunity I get as well as hoping they just disappear from the sean and market place. Jim...!!!!!!
