Hi, just tried the SpinBlades on the X5. RPM 2000-2050, lots of vibrations. Checked the default GAUI blades, all is good. Not doing hard 3D flying, just flips, rolls, loops etc. Do I need to change the dampers or do I have to alter some BeastX settings. I find it strange that just replacing with about same size FBL blades the vibrations come up.

Hello Vas, just double check it (must confess, I didn't checked them before) , and they are OK. I gradually started increasing the RPM and from 2350RPM onwards, the vibrations are gone.
Flies GREAT of course with that head speed, only reducing the flight time. Was getting 8 minutes flight on 2000 RPM. Currently flying with 15T pinion. Oh well, I'll get an 2nd battery pack.
I truly enjoy this X5, big FUN.

merg, with the 15t 2000 would be wayyyyyyyyyyyy too low a throttle input.
But yes on the HS bit, different weights will have different effects on dampers etc as you stated. GAUI have recently released a 60 durometer "yellow" damper which is softer than the black and might help in your situation.
Another thing to remember is that your gains might have to dropped with reduction in HS
