Just curious....I'm on the 2nd hold out from the servo for both linkages....
Any I going to gain anything by moving a couple more holes out? Just looking for more ability to fight the light winds

Yes it will help some, but the CX2 hates wind, it will never fly well in anything over 3-5mph winds.

One thing I did that seemed to help the performance is to remove the brass weights on the flybar. You simple slide back the rubber and slip out the brass weights.
I makes the CX fly a little "lighter". Really makes zero difference on the wind problem. I have everything cranked to the max to give me the best forward possible and it still hates the wind.

Doesn't that make it easier to collide the blades?

I moved one hole out on each of the servos and it makes a big difference how it flys, alot more forward flight and alot better response. As far as outside in the wind it still cant take anything over 5 mph it seems like. I have heard of guys moving out more then one hole or even the last hole having alot more blade strikes.

A shorter flybar will help with the strikes, as it is mostly blade-flybar strikes. Blade strikes will still occur during hard maneuvers though, mostly during hard FF flight followed by opposite cyclic. The blades bend and cause balooning of the heli during FF transitions, keep it easy on the sticks and you shouldn't have too many problems.
