Hi,
In Ben Minors article point 1. I can not seem to keep the neutral test running. I start the neutral test and the servos lock in neutral, but when I leave the screen to go to point 2. ATV settings, it seems that the test stops, at least the servos go bck to where they were. Problem :dontknow ??

That's correct - you leave the screen and the neutral test will stop
As a safety note ALL servos will go to 50% even throttle on hold so disconnect the motor on eHeli's before running this test

I use the neutral test to set up all the linkage on an eCCPM heli. It holds all the servos perfectly centered. Makes for easy setup. Just have to disable the timer that shuts down the transmitter if the sticks are not moved.
Learned that one hard way.

OK, BUT wasn't the point that you should set the neutral test on to get the servos centered and then continue the setup steps with servos secured at neutral (locked in by the test running)? Appears to me that this cannot be done - because once you leave the screen the servo neutral test stops and they move to whatever position the stick positions tell them to? - Maybe I don't understand correctly??

You don't leave the Neutral Test. You leave it on till you get all the wheels/horns set on the servos. At least for the 3 servos that control the swash. The Neutral test will hold the servos in the same position as having the collective stick exactly at the 50% point on the pitch curve.
Yes once you turn off the neutral test. The sticks will then move servos where they are commanded to move.

OK Got it - point 1 read to me like I had to go to the ATV and subtrim menus and check these - but this is of course a prerequisite. Thanks David!
