And how long has Futaba been making 2.4GHz stuff?

Futaba has been using Spread Spectrum technology for nearly 15 years in industrial R/C applications, so we have the dedicated engineering staff with 2.4GHz expertise.

David-

One small flaw with your reasoning: Futaba licensed technology from Nomadio for their FASST system. They did not use their own industrial technology.

Paul,
I never said they did. Just that they have been in the 2.4 ghz business for 15 years. Futaba RC for the hobby is just a very small part of Futaba Corporation. Most all the cars manufactuered in the USA have some type of Futaba electronics installed in them.

Sorry, but Futaba has licensed their technology from nobody. That information going around is completely incorrect. The FASST system was developed in-house by Futaba, and is entirely the result of their own development work.

Bill,

Thank you for setting me right! That Nomadio rumor has been going around for quite a while now. You are the first Futaba representative I have seen on any of the boards correct this.

Bill,
Thanks
The Team Futaba pilots know about this stuff. Just it does no good for us to inform about it. We are taken usually as not knowing . LOL
