Hello,I'm useing my eb for AP work,Have been into it now for two years,Looking for input on how long we can expect your bat, switches, sevors to last, some kind of preventive maintance program.
I'm useing two JR 3000 ma ,JR HD SWITCH TWO,8311 servos, and the 401 gyro with 9254, the 9254 is the only proplem i'm having, went thought two of them last year, started this year with a new one,Idon't trust them,Think II'L send them out to get checked, and change them out twice a year.

How much gain are you running, Kelly? And how much time are you getting out of a servo?

The proplem I got going on with the 9254 is I keep breaking one tooth, the servo will still work.I't the gear that is driven by the servo gear,I put a new set of gears in but I can't get them to run smooth again. No over heating,no binding any where.I,M geting about 30-50 hours out of a servo,I can by them for 129.00,so I think that cheap insurance.

No I'm not useing the push pull system, all I no is that you can move the linkage but you wont feel any proplem, disconect your linkage, move the sevo wheel and if you feel any differance though the full travel the servos shot. It's hard to feel one small tooth broke from that power sucking servo.IF this next one brakes I'm switching to something different. Why I'm I going to use it again it works well, even with a tooth missing.

I belive that there was a Bergen User that came up with the push pull system to aliviate the problems to tail servos it sure makes a really smooth setup call bergen and ask chris i think he will tell you that he reccomends the kit for the tail

With the 401 gyro and 9254, we DO NOT recommend the push pull setup, instead we recommend this, http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=19351
