i have a lot of questions about this could someone do a little explaining on this thing. there is a brief description on this on there site but....
will ama let you use this at events without impounding???
is it as quick as the fastest tx or is there a little more delay ???
will the module control two rx simultaneously ????

If you are asking about the Spektrum 2.4 GHz (DX6) then as far as I know:
AMA - Don't know, I'm in Australia but I know Spektrum's 2 and 3 channel units are officially sanctioned for R/C Car competitions.
Tx Speed - There is some debate out there, but as far as I can tell it is as fast, maybe faster.
Two Rx - You can bind as many Rx to the same Tx as you like. So you can have an Rx in each model, you don't have to keep shifting the one Rx from model to model.
Hope that helps.

the new spektrum system is only allowed on park flier models and electric helis. Pretty awsome setup. One radio and alot of recievers with no channels.

The spread spectrum stuff that I've seen isn't as fast as either the 14MZ or the Stylus.

Perhaps, but they cost between 5x and 10x as much as the DX6, perhaps that's not really an apples to apples comparison.

to answer the question, yes bypass the impound and will work on aplications you fly close (with 1500 feet, 5 football feilds) and use 6ch ore less. I have talk to ppl that fly as big as an ion-x with a dx6. I have tested my dx6 and have problems with distance. Out of sight with cordless drill running next to heli not one glitch. I'm going to get a trex 600 and run my dx6 in it. As for the speed the servos used seems to be the main differance. When the 14mz/12z get tested for speed they have high speed digi servos and then the dx6 is setup with the s75's or hitech 55's. not a fair test at all. I just want a higher level of spectrum tx, maybe a 7 or 9ch for scale apps. and for the $189 pricetag I love it.
