Just got done test flying my 8103

I just got done with the first test flight with my new 8103 and my hawk spoet. I was useing an older 642 radio and was doing well but now everything is faster and more crisp. Same servo's etc. just a new radio is this possible ?? Could a radio make that big a difference or am I nuts ?? :lol:

NO your not nuts.. the 8103 has better gimbals in it. If you go to the 10x or the 9z they have even better gimbals but the cost is much higher. on these type of radios.

You have to also consider you Pitch and Throttle curves that comes with the 8103. You are now able to program more response/pitch and getup/throttle and mix them together to get a more controlled heli. :wink:

Wait till you put better servos on there too.

I did more flying today and what a difference that radio made it seems like a new heli to me. I had to get used to it but then was doing well. It was very windy but I did do some rolls and loops I also did my first stationary roll, not pretty but I did it. Next I really need to get my head speed checked it sounds ok but I would like to be sure. I hover at a little more than half throttle and about 6 degrees.. Alan
