GAUI X2
BASIC INFO:
The GAUI X2 is a 200-class, Flybarless helicopter, designed for extreme aerobatics (3D) while providing rock solid stability and excellent flight characteristics. This Micro Helicopter spins 255mm Carbon Fiber Main Blades at very high headspeeds (3500k+) utilizing a 3400kv Scorpion motor (stock) and 3s Lipos. Stability comes from the combination of a specially designed Flybarless Main Rotor Head coupled with a MicroBeast-X Flybarless Gyro (stock in the Super Combo kits). The airframe itself is constructed of very high quality laser-cut Carbon Fiber, heavy-duty Metal, and a minimal number of plastic parts.
The kit is very similar in construction to the already released Hurricane 255, with about 85% parts commonality... making conversions from a 255 to an X2 very popular, and also allows vendors to carry less parts while supporting two distinct helicopters.
Keeping in line with Gaui's "X-Series" helicopters, the stock setup provides unprecedented power and performance with all the cool upgrades you could want, right in the box.
FLIGHT PERFORMANCE:
Flying a Gaui X2 is like flying a much larger model... but sped up!
Power is way more than adequate for unlimited vertical punchouts and collective-heavy maneuvers. Cyclic response is crisp and precise, especially at higher headspeeds, and the tail tracks very well throughout all flight regimes. The heli is pretty small, and moves very fast, so keep that in mind if you intend to do alot of fast forward/precision maneuvers... which it also does very well.
CURRENT KIT OPTIONS:
Gaui's latest release comes in two kit options--- a Basic Kit and a Super Combo
Basic Kit (# G-212003)
Comes with all materials required to construct the basic airframe, including all the bling/CNC upgrades. The stock power system, comprised of a specially designed 3400kv Scorpion brushless outrunner, and a Gaui 22amp ESC, is also included.
Super Combo (# G-212005)
This version of the X2 comes with just about everything you need to fly, minus your Radio/Rx and a Flight Battery/Charger. Everything from the Basic Kit is included, plus 4 (four) Gaui Metal-Gear/Digital high-performance servos (3 Cyclic, 1 Tail Servo), and a MicroBeast-X Flybarless Gyro (arguably one of the best Flybarless controllers currently available).
FLIGHT VIDEO:
And now of course, the reason you're all here... You wanna see the bird fly!!!
:crash:crash:crash
This video demonstrates a little bit of what this heli has to offer:
- Very stable hovering (and even hands off!)
- Upright/Inverted Flight
- Low and High Speed performance, along with some extreme aerobatics
Enjoy!!!

I'm running the stock GAUI servos at 200hz for the cyclic and 333hz for the tail. The tail centering pulse length is 1520us. These are the settings I run on all GAUI high speed digital servos such as those found in the X2 the X5 FES combos.
Cheers :cheers

thank you, what about motor timing?

Med or High will both work with the x2 motor and the x5 motor. High timing may have a slight performance advantage but will run hotter. Med is a good all around default balance between performance and temp.

perfect, thanks again, maybe they should include a sheet in the combo kit.
