V-Stabi Mounting

What are most of you using to mount the the V-Stabi sensor? I was using Futaba Gyro tape and a Velcro strap for redundancy. With my sensor fail I wonder if this might not have had enough dampening and lead to premature failure? The Heli wan't crashed, in fact it had less than 5 flights, with the V-Stabi installed. Most of it's flights were to fine tune the set-up.

Hi John,

Unless your heli have a lot of vibrations I doubt that the Futaba tape caused the premature failure. I use a tape that is stiffer than the Futaba tape and it works fine.
