Just got back and wanted to say THANK YOU to Doug and anyone remotely involved with making this year's event the success that it truely was!

Friday night there was a heli seminar in conference room of the Super 8 Hotel. Included discussions were Scale flying and how it is judged (thanks Peter) and Fiberglass repairs. The guy that spoke on Fiberglass really has some knowledge about the best way and materials to use. Both discussions were very informative and usefull...even to a 3D wannabe. :glasses2: Oh yeah, there was free pizza and adult beverages available. WAY COOL!

I had a blast and got to meet new people; Rodney, Bill, Rick, Nick, Mike, Scott just to name a few. Also got to spend some time with old friends too, which is special. Thanks Greg for letting me fly your electric heli, sure was sweet. Saw the Beast let it rip along w/ others that tore up the sky.
Met a guy from the UK that came over to fly (think his name was Chris) and enjoyed talking with him.

If you missed it, you missed a good one for sure. Try to be there next year.

Final thanks to David Harkey and the judge for working the Auto and Drag contests. With out you guys, these events wouldn't take place.

Again, I had a blast!

Bill,
Best of wishes to your wife on recovering. Sorry you was not at Mulberry either, but you got to do what you got to do.

Thanks also to Doug Bruns and Jerry Hicks for putting on the event. It is a very versatile event that pilots with different interests definitely should enjoy.
Now if they can just do something about those damn mutant mosquitos when the sun goes down, it would be a perfect event <G>.

Great time seeing all my friends from thru the years and enjoyed making some new ones.

I got up this morning and the camper had moved over about 10 feet. They wanted in real bad as Buzz and me were the only blood around.
