I ran across this website and wondered if this product would work on a Gasser? What do you guys think?

what problem are you trying to solve?

but in general, I'd say 'no'.

I'm gonna get shot down here..but there really is no EMI problems with Gassers.
Urban legend!!

Ok, this product also shields RFI or Radio Frequency Interference and isn’t that what we are doing when we shield the high-tension lead? We put a braided cover over this lead to stop leaking from the high-tension lead. I was thinking this product would stop the interference as the braided cover does. I simply don’t know –––– just asking.

"We put a braided cover over this lead to stop leaking from the high-tension lead"

I don't and never will, I have been flying gassers for 5 years and have never had a lockout.
I use a base loaded antenna, and the stock spark plug and cap, and never have moved the coil from it's stock location.
I fly Futaba 9Chp PCM, and a regular battery (no lipo or regulator)
People flew Gassers for many years before me without any of this stuff.
Just my thoughts an experience...Keep it simple.

Thanks Tom, I understand keeping it simple.

People get all excited about shielding and ferrite rings and moving coils and sheilded spark plug caps, etc etc.

I use stock everything, never jumped through any hoops for shielding and I've got close to 2000 flights to prove you can do it without.

When I get my Predator converted to a gasser, I will keep it simple. I'm glad I posted because I was leaning towards shielding, but now I will run it stock to see what happens; if I have a problem, I will address it at that time.

One can't really argue with the experience of Tom and Raja.
