I wish I could join u guys.
The Phoenix Team wrote me that it was impossible for them to use common ports instead of 9000-9005. And my internet provider wont let me change my router settings.
(they have locked it btw)

Yeah. Maybe theyre afraid that im gonna run a webserver without paying extra. lol
I found out that i cant go buy a new router (modem) because my ISP programs every router they sell (MDP codes etc.), and lock it.

My ISP is the only ISP here in Greenland, so it doesnt look good for me.

Do they filter out all UDP traffic?
I doubt it.

You may not be able to host a server but you should be able to join other servers even when you're behind a router.

The ports 9000-9005 UDP are locked on my router.
I cant go into the settings on my router because theyve locked the router.
I cant just buy another router, because they have setted up mdp codes etc. on this router so that i can use their internet.

I can SEE other sessions when i go ot "multiplayer" in Phoenix, but i cant join.
Ive checked the ports somewhere on the internet, they all time-outed.

YAAAAY!!! With version 1.03i, I can now join sessions.
It doesnt really matter whether I can host or not, as long as I can fly with other ppl.

(StingerCrazy, are your ports 9000-9005 open? you can do a google search to find a website to test your ports.)

That's what i thought - u need access to the router forwarding only if you want to host a session.

I flew yesterday and it was hilarious ... helis crashing in each other...

It would be nice if we can play tags with planes...

I can join sessions now, but i CANNOT fly with other people.
Could it be because of the closed ports?
Seldomly, I can see one of the other helis hanging in the air, not moving.
Otherwise, the other helis are just sitting there "parked" on the grass where they started. So, from my point of view, im the only one flying :-(

Sounds like its lag issues. Ive been experiencing quite a bit myself, especially with latest update. Still cant host but i got a geek buddy comin over to open my ports. Man that just sounds wierd!

I have that problem too.
But sometimes, when i attempt connecting to another session instead, i can join the session.
But still having the problem with not being able to see other helis.
They just hang in the air not moving.

Theyre beta-testing version 1.03k atm...
I sure hope that it will solve my problems.
My internet connection IS a bit slow, but thats never been a problem in any other online multiplayer games.
