Somethings funny about it tho....
I cudnt log on to any of the 2 sessions ive encountered so far.
And I cant see my own heli when i start a session.
But it seems that its gonna be great when they get it to work better. :-(

For those of you using vista and are having a problem installing the update, run Phoenixrc as an administrator. You can not do that using the link on your desktop. you have to go to te intalation directory (c/proggram files/phoenixrc ) and right click on phoenixrc.exe with your right mouse button and coose Run as Administrator. When prompted to set up you TX again just ignore it ( I closed the program and ran it as Admin again and the second time it did ot ask me to recalibrate the TX )

hope it helps someone!

I have tried the multi player. It is ok but I seem to crash or reset a lot for no apparent reason. What I would like to ask is how do you type comments to other players on the session.

Thanks,

Dennis

Seems to me Phoenix has some bugs to work out still. They are all the way to g version and it seems pretty unstable. I'm getting the close because of error and crashes for no apparent reason now too. WTF. It's only in multiplayer and my frame rate is always at 60 till stuff starts getting sh*tty :arggg:

They have said all along that these are BETA releases. So you shouldn't expect them to work perfectly. And you are accepting the fact that you are being an unpaid tester in trying to use them.

Please post back if this one is working better. What did they fix if anything? It's hard to get excited because they have released 4-5 versions this week already.

Awamori I had a nice session with voltran tonight in North America server. i saw your room but it was the g version. I still cant host rooms though, ADE LAW if you read this what ports need to be open on the router to host phoenix. Its a beta though guys and after doing some beta for sony, i think i'll give these folks the benifit of the doubt. So far everything they said they would do they've done. ie multiplayer. Unlike Sony I might add.
