9303 disable lever on Left Side of Tx

Please excuse my ignorance as I am a complete NOOB to helis.

My LHS setup my new Trex 450 and he mentioned NOT to touch the left lever on the side of the Tx (the one physically on the side) I notice that it changes pitch but I want to disable it so in case I accidentally hit it I wont screw anything up... any ideas?

To disable the pitch trim lever.

1 Enter the Function Menu by holding down the enter button while turning on the transmitter.

2 Scroll to the Device Select screen and hit enter.

3 Move the cursor to Pitch Trim Lever and hit enter.

4 In the box that opens up select INH which will inhibit the lever.

5 Make sure you check your pitch curve it may have changed depending on where thelever was when it was originally set up.
