I ripped out the input gear on my shogun 400 and ordered a carbon boom, and the "tough blue" gears for input and output. I got the input gear on a carbon shaft but the output gear supplied has a hole too small for that shaft. I intend to drill it out to fit. The question is will CA glue work? Or should I get some epoxy? will the carbon fiber and plastic bond?

Well, I just drilled and pounded. No Glue necessary!

Drill the gear out and use CA to ensure it stays put. I'm concerned about the fact the gear does not fit the shaft. The Microheli shaft and gear upgrades I've gotten...4 of them in the past couple years...all fit together perfectly with no drilling. Did your kit come with both the shaft and the gears and the bearings? The ones I got did.
