-13/+13 pitch setup

my buddy told me that in order to get that pitch you have to increase your endpoints to achieve this naturally,but, i was told you end up with i think more neg than pos on the pitch. how do you compensate for this??...i would just like to end up with + and - 13 pitch......thanks in advance guys, and bynthe way im using the dx7

You set the pitch range up mechanic. The idea is to have 0 degs at mid stick and the 50% point in the pitch curve. Leave the pitch curve in the transmitter defaulted.

Ideally you have the same negative degrees of pitch at full low stick that you have positive pitch at full high stick. Then you should be able to control the pitch range using the AFR for the pitch in the swash menu. Increasing or decreasing that AFR will do the same for the pitch range.
