Thanks Bob. This one looks like it will have some good pointers to use with the Raptor Titan (my first bird) that's in the mail to me.

Hello Bob !

I live near from Paris (France)...
Your vidéos are now international (like your reputation! ) :noteworthy
Damage, I don't understand all because my English is deplorable!

I've just finished the assembly of an e550 (my first helicopter) and
I'll be able to check my errors with your super-production !
Just didn't a question, you forget to lubricate the 'one way clutch housing' before assembling it?

I'm itching for the next video... javascript:emoticon(':Stay')
Stay Here
Greetings

Hello Bob !

How one says in France : 'That flies low !"
(and it is extremely by the way for my helicopter !)
Thus excuse me, I wanted to say 'Too bad...'

I'm with interest your assembly and I impatiently await the continuation of your vidéos (… for the moment I have good!)

Greetings

ps: do you know a model of helicopter for simulator FMS or AFPD ? (or close to the Electric Raptor) :fly

Bob,

Did you find the screws that hold the flybar control arm to the flybar itself a pain to put in? I couldn't do it man! I tried and tried... for 2 hours! I thought I must be to weak. Someone gave me a tip about how to do this with ease.

I took the inner hex sleeve out and put the screw all the way in (loctited of course), put the hex sleeve back into the flybar control arm then backed out out the screw enough to slide the flybar through. Found the flat spots on the flaybar, measured then tightened it. It was a lot easier that way. :D

Maybe it was mine because it was one of the first kits.

what is the best motor esc bec ect for this heli

You can run a 6 to 10 cell Lipo with a Caste Creations PHX 85HV and a Z-Power Z50A-800. That's what I run on a Flight Power 6 cell 5000mah Lipo and love it!! I sport fly. This setup leaves me room to upgrade to a 10 cell Lipo for all out 3D. :glasses2: Hope this helps.

*EDIT After testing the 6s setup for a couple of days I will be going to a 8s or more likely a 10s setup. The 6s just doesn't give good flight times on this heli.

What chargers can you use with the 10 cell?

Bob

It just occurred to me that this kit doesn't come with esc or motor! The price of this model seems much higher than the align 600.
