Bob, You might want to replace that tail hub with the PV0499 Sus Tail Hub. It is one piece with the threads for attaching the tail blade holders instead of removable threaded rods. Its only around 6 bucks and is supposed to fix a known tail hub problem.

Hmm dont see why it's function would be different other than it looks steel instead of aluminum?
Are the aluminum ones stripping out?

I'm not sure exactly what happens to cause it to fail. I remember seeing posts about the hub on just about every forum I read so when I bought my Titan I picked up 2 for my Raptors.... I have enough problems already  Here are a few posts about the hub:

Yea sorry.... We are going through some serious health issues with my Mother and my Wifes Father... BOTH of them are in the hospital right now... This has taken all my free time away...
I was hoping to finish this week but it might not happen.

More vids up tonight!
Servo setup, head setup, and motor install....
Getting close folks! I am going to try and finish by Friday night and fly this sucker Saturday.
Also a special video will be made as I am going to be using a Logictech 6100T gyro and I will be doing a full setup video of that gyro. This will come after the maiden as I need to learn to set it up myself so I can properly teach how to set it up in the video.

hehehhehehe...... Yea I cant believe I said that ;)
Let me teach it off the cuff! :lolol :lolol :lolol
Honestly... GrandRC sent me this thing and I need to know HOW it works. Not to eval it as you see I dont do review videos much, but more how to get it working right should you buy one! I think that is the real deal :)
Please dont expect me to compare it.... rather... expect me to show how to set it up and how I like it... I honeslty dont like doing comparisons...... I am not here to tell you what to buy! Only to help you with WHAT you bought.

had a bit of problem setting up this gyro.. not because it very complicated.. its just that the "english" instruction seem to be written by Yoda.. but once its setup.. you love it :banana

Phasing block???? I knew I would learn something I missed with these vids.
The head on my Titan has an adjustable phasing block. I wondered why it wasn't one piece with the headblock. I just centered it and tightened it up  I'll check it tonight to make sure its set up correctly. Thanks again Bob :noteworthy

Bob,
Was going thru my head setup again.. in your video, you mentioned that the top long edge of the mixing level should be inline with the flybar seesaw hub at zero pitch. but for my bird, if I adjust the long linkage till the mixing level edge is inline with the seesaw hub, i get a sligh -ve pitch instead of zero. do you have any idea why it is so? :dontknow thanks
