Well I fly it yesterday... Sorry no vid as I was busy tweakin the new gyro and HV85 and it was pretty windy. Needless to say I love this thing on 10S!!!! I really like the way it flys!
The cyclic is a little slow and I moved the balls OUT on the washout arms which helped. It's not as fast in cyclic as a Trex600 but damn she flys sweat and true!
Anyway I will do a vid next weekend of her flying.
SO bottom line if you can afford 10S I highly reccomend 10S.

I'm really thinking 10s on my 600 and might get a e620 for 10 to 12s. I want something that has stability and extra power in a 60-90 class with extra power for harder flights. I was on the fence with the rex and e raptor got the 600 but bonus wasn't big enough for both.

Guys.. the more I tweak at this think and fly it the more I like it!
If cyclic were a little faster I would be lovin life!
Even still this think is built like a break sh*t house and I think it will be very crash worthy!
Honestly I thought to myself when building it... "I am going to get this going and sell it"... But now that I got the HV85 working in gov mode GREAT and I am still working on the 6100T Grand RC sent me... I am going to keep this thing as I really do think this is a great heli!
So right now this is what I am flying most but NOT in order of importance
Trex450 (you cant beat it for cheap to crash!)
Trex600
Raptor e620!
Hurricane 550
These are the helis I will be playing with and tweakin on!

what blades are you using?

Great to hear you like it Bob. Keep tweaking and let us know about any tricks you find  If you can't get much more cyclic out of it, take a look at the G-Force head. The Flybar cage and mixing arms give you a few different mounting options to help speed up cyclic.

I am using the Vbaldes V3 foe electrics... WOW... these are stiffer than hell but they SUCK at auto's..... I also ran Curtis Radix blades and those were good too.... my first flights were withtr he Raptor 600 blades and those were OK but soft.

GrandRC carries the head. Fast shipping too. I really like how it flies compared to the stock plastic head on the Titan. It seems much quicker through flips and feels tighter....but I haven't flown the TT metal head.

I not even flipping mine over at this point and plan on making the upgrade as my skill increases. That pic looks awesome Funky! Is the aluminum coated for protection? Can it be polished?

Hi Bob

I am done with the Castle vids but they are being reviewed.
FOr the Logictech I shot the initial vids but then ran into some difficulty getting it to work right so I have to go back and redo them ONCE I get it working right.

the logictech vid is the one i am waiting on. I have had a pair of these gyros for a few months and have never been happy with them. I find them "interesting" to setup and i cant get that locked in feeling i have with Futaba.
Please teach me how to make them work :noteworthy

Please teach me how to make them work
I will do my BEST once I freakin get it right ;)
What bothers me is the end points are different between normal and LOCK modes. I had mine running SWEET in normal and went to lock mode and it was GREAT and locked but I saw it was over driving and binding on the ends... I changed the ends in lock mode and the gyro got "twitchy". I am going to do it again but this time move the ball in and set the ends in LOCK mode for no binding THEN set up normal for no drift. I have a feeling that will work.
BTW YOU CANT just set this thing up like a 401/611 and center the slider and servo. YOU MUST set up normal first.....

Gyro setup is not my strongest skill. After 50+ builds i would have expected to know more but i dont. I have managed with tinkering to get the gyros close but not close enough.
I am really looking forward to learning how to do it and get the performance many claim for these units.
bring it on :smokin:

The whole gyro thing has kicked me in the backside ever since I started flying these things. I've watch all your videos on this subject but it's still fuzzy. The vids are great but it's just one of those things I can't hardly grasp. :arggg:
I've gotten better but still..... :arggg:
Maybe charts would help.... just an idea.
On another note I moved my ESC back on my E-620 like you did and it looks better. Balances out better too. Thanks for the tip!!!
