I seem to recall reading that it would be at ircha.

and it was.

it was demo'd during the MA Power hours on both days and flown a coupla other times during the weekend. Video will surface somewhere as I know it was covered. Some photos here: (http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=329972)

model is very smooth, and looked great! There are a few more minor changes to be done to finalize it before production but the major design should be done. Maybe Chris Lund will weigh in here.

After all the formal demo's Raja flew it some as did I. Its gonna change the way you think about gas powered helicopters!

I'm excitied about it :) I just ordered a Trex600E FBL PRO because the clutch on my helibug600 conversion exploded while in flight and severely pissed me off but maybe the whiplash will win me back to gassers.

WG uses the Zenoah swing shoe clutch setup, the liner is on the shoes not on the bell. So if you manage to burn them up you replace the shoes instead of the liner or the bell.

Anyone have links to video? I'm anxious to see this thing fly.

Nice... looks solid. I have to say though it doesn't seem to be moving any quicker than other gassers I have seen especially since it has a modded engine in it. I do, however, like the beefy clutch and strong frames. I'm looking forward to them hitting the market.

well, its still a heavier model....can't really change physics no matter how much power you throw at it.

What you see is the prototype which was about 12.5lbs without fuel.

I think that is a good bit lighter than my Bergen....
