First I wish I could say I built it but I did not. I can fly but not build.

This is a new Vario machine using benzine mechanics with a G23 for power, and using Futaba 14MZ with the G3 reciever.

We have been playing with multi blade heads during the last year. We have found the following the head accounts for 5% of how it flys and the blades account for the rest. The OF blades seem to work great simply due to the weight. Using the OF blades and no gyros the heli is fun to fly, and the most shocking thing about the multis was how much fun they are to auto!

Look in my gallery and you will see I love to fly scale machines!

so who did the paint?

Paul Hood in Tulsa, OK

Did the build and paint on the 412. He is the the one who built my old turbine Vario 230.

He has built a lot of the show scale heli's and few that were said to be built by the owner. He has a very detailed build book to back up his past builds.

I have been very happy with everything he has done for me.

Very nice video of your flight. I've much enjoyed the slow take-off and approach/landing sequence, for slow motion for scale heli are much more realistic than FFF or 3D! Keep it up. I'm looking forward of seeing more video of your 412.

Dear scale helifreaks. I love to see these nice videos of your flying beauties. I'm still a newbie to helis but I always dream of having a turbo scale heli someday.

thanks

Michael

I know it a term that often miss used, but in this case "AWESOME" really does seem to fit the bill :)
