WOW! I just ordered a new Raptor 90 standard from Ricks W/the Gforce headblock and they sent me the new baseplate instead. At first I was a little dissapointed but then I thought I would just install it and order the head after I broke the motor in. All I can Say is that Gforce products are AWESOME. At 6mm thick it allows your gear to mount directly to a seperate set of hole so that on those hard landings you don't tweak you frames, motor slides in and out with no dissasembly of the baseplate. Also has seperate set of mounting holes at the rear for the boom supports to be relocated further down and attaching at the baseplate for more support and lastly the extra set of body mounts that secure your canopy with a screw on each side to better mount the canopy, no need for the POS clip that snaps over the landing gear, Canopy is very secure with this setup. I'm super stoked and can't wait to get the rest of my stuff to get her in the air.

I don't run a baseplate at all. I did not replace it after a hard landing...seems to fly the same without it. Bring yours down to Dirt Burners when you get it flying!

A baseplate does help, it keeps the motor in the helicopter, when you forget to loctite, or use little locktite on motor bolts :arggg:

Yes it came back in 1 piece
