no there to long. thats what i used and it ended up bending the adapter plate. i guess i will just shim them up and use lots of thread lock.

Here's my 320g setup. Still using an 11.1v 1000mah 12c lipo. So a smaller lipo will still shed some grams.

Careful, a breeze might blow it over  Just kidding, nice setup. How does it fly?

I'm all smiles with it. I have been conservative with my head speed but it has loads of power. Heli is very stable and flies like a sim on calm mornings. Tail has good hold with throttle blips and fast backwards flight. Piro if anyone cares for it is fast. Run time is pretty impressive at 13 min for an 11.1v 1000mah 12c lipo.

well got the adapter ring today. just had my first flight. it seems to have a higher head speed. im only hovering in short times then checking my gear mesh. but i also think i need to check my pitch. ive noticed when the pitch is off, it makes a weird noise..

I see you are using an AR6100 reciever I'm using a DX 7 with an AR 6100. How did you set up your TX settings? Are you using AUx or Gear? and what % did you set up in the Gyro set up and finally where did you set your gain in the Gyro? I'm using a BL DD tail as will.
By the way what time is it where you are if it's 9:30 PM in Kansas?

Hey Gino,
What Brushless motor and controller are you using in your heli?
