I have a few choices to choose from laying around as far as servos go. Will the CSM RL10 benefit from a faster servo?

You can run it in digital mode which you set during initial setup. So yes, though anything too much faster than .2 isn't probably going to translate into a benefit in the air so I wouldnt waste 100 bucks on a tail servo for it.
