DX7 Weirdness...

Anyone seen a DX7 display that is backwards???

Turned on mine today to go fly, and the whole display was in reverse!!! I should have taken a picture, didn't think of it at the time, just wanted to fly.

I shut it off and turned it back on and all was well.

It was really weird though, the numbers, heli picture everything were in reverse. You would have been able to put it up to a mirror to see it properly.

Wonder what the signal would have been from the radio in that state??? Probably no problem, just a display issue.

Anyone else had this pop up before?

Have read of this before. One report was the display was upside down. But from what your saying it was like the image was flipped over and you are looking at it thru the back.

Thanks David. Exactly... The screen was right side up but it was a mirror image, instead of left to right it was right to left as if looking through the back.

Weird. I wrote the Spektrum folks to see what they had to say. :shock:

I had it too...just once.

And like you, i switched it off and on again. Never saw it again. Probably missed a few bytes during startup.

occurance, but it might be best to send the radio in & one of our techs
can take a look at it & see if they can figure out what is causing the

I would classify it as a "fluke", it has only been one time. Hopefully it does not reverse programming, etc. (Nahhh, couldn't, could it???)

As we've seen there are others (upside down, etc.).

I think I'll wait until something else weird happens.
