Just turned my radio on at the field and it came up with a Corrupt model and some error code. So i switched it off and back on at which point the menus were all crapped out (See pics) :arggg:
Anyway i managed to fix it by changing the language from English and back again. Should i get the unit replaced or is this a common thing?

Looks like it went into the service menu for some reason.
If the radio still functioned when that happened. I would not send it in if is corrected now. If it didn't function, I would send it in and get it checked out.
9C does not have lithium battery for backup. So that can not be the cause.

There was a bug in the 9C non super firmware that if you had 2 premixes enabled for cyclic to throttle mixing and tried to turn on a third for rudder to throttle mixing that it would freak out and spit out a few screens worth of klingon in swash1 mode, dont know if that might be what you have going on.
