Both my controller and my buddy's controllers both broke. My elevator control, his aileron control. I had the hobby shop install a metal screw where the plastic one used to be (but voided the warranty).
The alternative is to use your actual transmitter plugged into the Great Planes controller. No chance of breaking it if it's just sitting on your desk!

2 of mine broke. Got a new one the first time sicne it was udner warranty but the second time I could not. The interlinks have a warrarnty for only 3 months then they delete all the records that they have of you from their system. Thats what happened to me the second time as mine was about 3 months 1 week old. The plastic nub just fell off so I drilled a hole through it and put a tiny metal screw in. The stick position is not center, but the other stick isn't broken and it's crooked too so w/e.
