I have a 5/6v selectable 3.5 amp BEC from Medusa Research. It handles up to 35V I believe. Has anyone used one, or similar, wtihout a flight battery? How did it impact flight time? Any Interference?

I run a 4S setup with that BEC and I get about 7-8 min on a 3600 Megapower pack and the 550 Century motor in idle up 90% of the time (about 1900 rpm headspeed +/- 9deg). I am very happy I went with the BEC, now I just need to move up to a 6S setup. I am not a 3D guy, basic loops/rolls and working on my inverted hovering now.
